A meaningful month for EmAble!
April has been a deeply meaningful month for us at EmAble — one that has invited reflection, remembrance, and renewed purpose. As we marked the anniversary of Emily’s passing, we held close the love and strength that continue to shape everything we do. Alongside this, Bowel Cancer Awareness Month and World Health Day have given us the opportunity to recognise the experiences of so many individuals and families navigating health challenges every day.
Moments like these remind us why EmAble exists — to support, to empower, and to honour every story with dignity and care. 💙
Remembering Emily on the anniversary of her passing. 💙
The 24th of April marks the seventh anniversary of Emily’s passing. Not a day goes by where she isn’t in our thoughts; her strength, her love, and everything she was continue to shape who we are and the path we’re on.
EmAble exists because of her — and everything we do is a reflection of the love we have for her, and the legacy she’s left behind.
We carry her with us in every step of this journey, and always will.
We love you, Emily.
Bowel Cancer Awareness month 💙
April is Bowel Cancer Awareness Month.
It’s a time to raise awareness, but also to recognise the people behind it — their journeys, their strength, and everything they’ve faced along the way.
We’ve had the honour of working with Mick following his journey with bowel cancer. His openness, resilience, and willingness to share his story mean more than we can put into words.
It’s people like Mick who remind us why awareness matters, and why these conversations are so important.
World Health Day!
Health isn’t only about getting better — it’s about how you’re treated along the way.
Feeling comfortable, respected, and like yourself should never be an afterthought.
This World Health Day, we stand for a more human approach to health.
We’re thinking of everyone navigating their own journey — whether that’s treatment, recovery, or supporting someone you love. You are seen, and you are not alone.
